From the album of the same title, listen to Taylor Swift's SPEAK NOW, a country-pop song solely written by Swift about interrupting a former love's wedding in an attempt to win him back. It was released as a promotional single as part of countdown to Speak Now album, an exclusive campaign launched by iTunes store.

The song was catchy, sweet, funny and edgy at the same time. This shows Swift as one of the most gifted young lyricist to date!

LADY GAGA's Christmas Tree

I'm currently listening to KESHA's first extended play (EP), "CANNIBAL", it wasn't easy but I did it!
There is one song that's pretty good. A track called "THE HAROLD SONG"- a very emotional song that has been cited as the album's power ballad. The song features a more stripped down vocal style portraying a vulnerable side of Kesha.

Cornell Haynes Jr. or better known by his stage name as NELLY, is back on the charts with the song JUST A DREAM. Produced by Jim Jonsin and Rico Love, the track is a midtempo cross between straightforward hip-hop and a pop ballad about missing a past love. This serves as the lead single from his sixth studio album, Nelly 5.0 (2010). The 'Hot in Here' rapper has got the right mix of his old style and evolution into a newer style. And it's a good thing that he didn't use auto-tune!...Well done Nelly!

I'm currently hooked on the music of multi-Grammy nominee JAZMINE SULLIVAN. She has just released her latest album Love Me Back (her second after 2008's Fearless) and the carrier single "Ten Seconds", is a blazing track that depicts the climax of problems within a relationship.

I also like the song U GOT ON MY NERVES, a duet with Ne-yo. I can relate to this sog actually! =)

If your a fan of solid, quality RnB/soul music, you should buy/listen to this album.

Rock group VERTICAL HORIZON represents that time in music (mid-90s) where rock-alternative music really became popular. Their album Everything You Want was a hit and the music of the same name
received massive airplay in radio's/mtv that finally got the group on the world music scene. If you like Lifehouse or Live, you'll also love this band. Check out their great stuff here:

EVERYTHING YOU WANT one amazing song!...still sound as good now as it did ten years ago!

YOUR A GOD fave song from the band! It seems that everyone has forgotten about Vertical Horizon. And I don't know why because they make some kick ass music!

This is an old GREEN DAY was originally called Good Riddance, found on their 1997 album Nimrod.

I think the song is about a break up but not to cry about it, think about the good times you had, think about the laugh and the special moments you had...

Or it could be about time and life in general, and how no matter what you're past is you say Good Riddance to it and live for a new day and changing with the times.

The reigning American Idol winner LEE DEWYZE already released his debut album LIVE IT UP and ended up selling just under 40,000 copies which was good enough to chart at #19 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

Thus far, this is the lowest debut in units sold for an American Idol winner since Kris Allen's debut of 80,000 units sold. DeWyze's album is also the second album of an American Idol winner (after Allen, who debut and peaked at #11) to not debut in the top 10 of Billboard 200 and the #19 debut marks the lowest position for an AI winner.

Personally, I really love the album. Lee delivered great melodies and great lyrics. There's a variety of songs genre here that goes to show how versatile he is as an artist!
Everything this man has done so far in his musical career is amazing and this album is no different.

the first track from the cd!...I love this song-it's so upbeat and Lee sounds great singing it!

Love the title track!...It's nice he can mix it up. Some light and playful, some serious and heavy. Nice job Lee!!!

Check out Rihanna's LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE part II, the sequel of her collaboration with Eminem. A piano version, without Eminem's rap vocals, this track appeared on her fifth studio album LOUD.
Heartfelt lyrics. This song seems like it was suppose to be this way....

Back 2 Back: PINK/KESHA

Raise Your Glass
is a song by singer-songwriter PINK from her first compilation album Greatest Hits...So Far!!!. It was released as the lead single in the United States on October 6, 2010. The song is written by Pink, Max Martin and Shellback and produced by the latter two. It has reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100,becoming Pink's highest charting song since "So What" which topped the chart in 2008, her second highest charting song as a solo artist and her eleventh top ten hit.

We R Who We R
is the latest chart topper song by KESHA, from her first EP, CANNIBAL. The song was released as the EP's lead single and was written by her, with Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco and Ammo who also produced the song. Kesha was inspired to write the song in the wake of news that bullying had led to multiple suicides of gay youth. Hence the message of the song is to inspire people to be themselves, a celebration of anyone deemed quirky or eccentric.

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

BLACK EYED PEAS drops new song!!!, Fergie, Apl de ap and Taboo popularly known as The BLACK EYED PEAS are back with their robotic-infused thumping sound and mind-melding hooks on THE TIME (Dirty Bit), the lead single from their upcoming 6th studio album The Beginning due out on Novemeber 30 (US).
The song takes a sample of Dirty Dancing jam "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" -- considered as one of pop history’s tastiest slices of cheese — and turns it into an even more over-the-top dance party.

Listen to what’s bound to be their next chart-topper below.

BROOKE FRASER is a Pop/Folk singer who sounds like a cross between Sarah McLachlan and Norah Jones. Hailing from New Zealand, she comes from Hillsong United, an internationally-recognized Christian worship band.

While she isn't exactly a "new artist," the beautiful song Something In The Water is the first time I've heard of her...This track is the first single from her latest album FLAGS which was released earlier this year.

This girl is beautiful inside and out. Check her out on MySpace if you want to hear more of her music...You will enjoy it!

Teen music sensation JUSTIN BIEBER announces via twitter that his new album My World Acoustic will be released on November 23. That date now appears to have moved to the day following the American Thanksgiving, Friday November 26.
The new record will contain songs from his My World and My World 2.0 albums on stripped versions as well as a brand new track called "Pray" which is described as "an optimistic, uplifting song, and represents the spirit behind 'My Worlds Acoustic."

U SMILE amazing!...way better than the album version!

One of the highlights on Taylor Swift's new record is the emotional "DEAR JOHN" Her voice may be digitally tuned, but the timbre and word emphasis are elegant as she sings about feeling used.

The subject is assumed by many to be about her brief ties to John Mayer, but while nothing is confirmed in the lyrics, the music certainly seems to support this speculation. The two made a song together in 2009, the song was Half Of My Heart and it was for Mayer's album.

Nearing seven minutes in length, Swift takes her time with "Dear John," saving her strongest points for the end; her voice finding strength in the words as the song passes by.

Check out KATY PERRY's live performance of her latest single FIREWORK, off from her Teenage Dream album.
Perry said that "Firework" is her favorite song on the album. She expressed that:
"People are coming back and almost adopting it as their own anthem, and it's hard, I think, to write an anthem that's not cheesy, and I hope that this could be something in that category. I hope this could be one of those things where it's like, 'Yeah, I want to put my fist up and feel proud and feel strong. But I also don't want to be cheesy, it's a fine line, and I think 'Firework' ... would be like the opus or my one song — if I had to pick a song to play — 'cause it has a great beat. But it also has a fantastic message."

Nasabi ko na ba sa inyong super like ko talaga si Bruno Mars?...Pasensya na, masyadong nahuhumaling kay papa BM kaya heto na naman tayo...Isa na namang post ng mga kantang mula sa kanyang unang album na pinamagatang Doo Wops and Helligans. is the stage name of Marina Diamandis- a Greek-Welsh solo artist based in London, UK. Marina's deep voice mixed with her pop, electronic, eccentric sound produces some good tunes.

Her debut album The Family Jewels released earlier this year was a hit by music lovers and the critics.
Songs like Hollywood,” I'm not a robot" and Shampainare perfect to dance or simply bob your head along to.

Check out the acoustic versions below:

I'M NOT A ROBOT im so pleased that she sounds good live...amazing!

HOLLYWOOD cant get enough of this song...marina sings so damn great!

DEVIL'S GOT YOUR BOYFRIEND is my favorite track from TRACY BONHAM's latest album Masts Of Manhatta...Love the voice and the violin/guitar playing she put on this song.

The album is filled with great songs, catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics. Bonham's trademark playfullness are fully intact here. I consider it as one of the best album this year! =0

Grammy award winner band KINGS OF LEON are back with a new album titled Come Around Sundown. The lead single, Radioactive is like a rock/gospel/spiritual song. It begins with the words, "When the roll is called up yonder, i hope to see you there..." relates the band's christian music influence.
Beautiful song and lyrics, it makes me feel like I want LIFE to always be like this!...well done KOL!!

Check out this amazing acoustic version of MINE by Taylor Swift

You were in college working part time waiting tables

Left a small town, never looked back
I was a flight risk with a fear of falling
Wondering why we bother with love if it never lasts

I say can you believe it?
As we're lying on the couch
The moment I could see it
Yes, yes, I can see it now

Do you remember we were sitting there by the water?
You put your arm around me for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine

Flash forward and we're taking on the world together
And there's a drawer of my things at your place
You learn my secrets and you figure out why I'm guarded
You say we'll never make my parents' mistakes

But we got bills to pay
We got nothing figured out
When it was hard to take
Yes, yes, this is what I thought about

Do you remember we were sitting there by the water?
You put your arm around me for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine

Do you remember all the city lights on the water?
You saw me start to believe for the first time
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine

And I remember that fight, 2:30 a.m.
As everything was slipping right out of our hands
I ran out crying and you followed me out into the street

Braced myself for the goodbye
'Cause that's all I've ever known
Then you took me by surprise
You said I'll never leave you alone

You said I remember how we felt sitting by the water
And every time I look at you, it's like the first time
I fell in love with a careless man's careful daughter
She is the best thing that's ever been mine

Hold on, make it last
Hold on, never turn back
You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter
You are the best thing that's ever been mine

Do you believe it?
We're gonna make it now
I can see it
I can see it now

Multiplatinum-selling singer and recent Canadian Walk of Fame inductee Nelly Furtado will celebrate her tenth anniversary as a recording artist with her first greatest hits compilation The Best Of Nelly Furtado to be released worldwide on November 16.

The first track Night Is Young is an addicting electronic-dance anthem but Furtado gave an amazing acoustic version of the song when she stopped by at Walmart Soundcheck. Watch the video below:

A beautiful piece from Avril Lavigne's Under My Skin album. It's a very sweet song and very sad at the same time. She wrote this song in memory for her grandfather who passed away when she was on a concert tour and tells how much she misses him...and I think it's a perfect song for this day!

After scoring a worldwide hit with his debut single "Cooler Than Me", MIKE POSNER is ready to go ahead with the second track from his 31 Minutes To Takeoff album. The title is PLEASE DON'T GO, a song written and produced by Posner himself in collaboration with mega producer/songwriter Benny Blanco.

You can stream the song here:

Posner must be really bad with the ladies, cause almost ALL of his songs are about how a girl has left him or is going to and he wants them to stay...anyway, still a great track! =)

"Back To December"
is the latest piece of music we've heard from Taylor Swifts' latest album Speak Now. Personally, this is my favorite song from the new record. It features a lush arrangement that borders on orchestral towards the end and during the chorus, it actually sounds like a Lady Antebellum song!

Swift admits that the song is “almost word-for-word” a conversation she had in real life with a boy whose heart she broke. Fans are tending to believe that she’s referring to Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner, with whom she was linked earlier this year.

Check out the song below, and decide for yourself!

"I've never felt alone...
till I met you,
I'm alright on my own...and then I met you!"

This is a beautiful song from San Francisco, California band THIRD EYE BLIND. It was the fourth single from the group second album BLUE...been listening to this song since just nice...emo alternative rock!...

These guys are currently storming the music charts particularly in the US Billboard chart. They bring something unique to the music industry because of their ethnicity (the members are all Asians!) hoping to breakdown the stereotypes using hip-hop, pop and electro-dance with their music.

About the band: The FAR EAST MOVEMENT (also known as FM), hailing from the clubs and streets of Los Angeles, are one of the freshest crews representing the next generation of artists and “fly music.” Members Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman (half-Filipino) have created a huge industry buzz with major companies, radio stations, and club djs worldwide through their international appeal, energetic live shows, and collaborations with top street wear companies.

Check out their first #01 hit LIKE A G6 featuring The Cataracts/Dev.

Akuztik Pick 17: PAULA COLE

Remember singer PAULA COLE?...she's the voice behind the theme song to Dawson's Creek I Dont Want To Wait and yez- she's returning to the music scene with a new album called ITHACA. The new record is simply solid, mature and a very good album from any perspective.

The first track MUSIC IN ME is enough proof that her superb voice is still there and shows her talent as songwriter.

Of course, who would forget the song WHERE HAVE ALL THE COWBOYS GONE that won Cole a Grammy award for Best New Artist back in 1997?...this rare performance is one of her best!

An old song favorite from one of the best album (but underrated!) in the 1990's, Joan Osborne's Relish. Fans of good music, taste and style must own this album!

Come and wrap around me
Take me through the snow

Eve took a train, eve took a train
Went to see her man
Melting inside, melting away
Like butter in the pan

Come and wrap around me
Take me through the snow

Eve took a fruit, eve picked a fruit
Juice ran down her chin
Babies will put things in their mouths
Never heard of sin

Open like the sea
Sing me in the dark

Eve had to ask, eve had to ask
What is wrong with this
Here is the place, now is the time
Let’s invent the kiss

Come and wrap around me
Come and wrap around me...

Bluesy American Idol runner up Crystal Bowersox has tied the knot with boyfriend and fellow musician Brian Walker, ac
cording to buzz. The wedding ceremony was held at a sentimental place for the couple–the club where they first met six years ago. Bowersox’s 1 and 1/2-old son from a previous relationship was the ring bearer at the solemn event, where only around 60 friends and family were invited.

As for her debut album, it was announced that the record will be released on December. Meanwhile, check out this pre-Idol track, a beautifully written song called Farmer's Daughter.
