The reigning American Idol winner LEE DEWYZE already released his debut album LIVE IT UP and ended up selling just under 40,000 copies which was good enough to chart at #19 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.Thus far, this is the lowest debut in units sold for an American Idol winner since Kris Allen's debut of 80,000 units sold. DeWyze's album is also the second album of an American Idol winner (after Allen, who debut and peaked at #11) to not debut in the top 10 of Billboard 200 and the #19 debut marks the lowest position for an AI winner.
Personally, I really love the album. Lee delivered great melodies and great lyrics. There's a variety of songs genre here that goes to show how versatile he is as an artist! Everything this man has done so far in his musical career is amazing and this album is no different.
