Raise Your Glass is a song by singer-songwriter PINK from her first compilation album Greatest Hits...So Far!!!. It was released as the lead single in the United States on October 6, 2010. The song is written by Pink, Max Martin and Shellback and produced by the latter two. It has reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100,becoming Pink's highest charting song since "So What" which topped the chart in 2008, her second highest charting song as a solo artist and her eleventh top ten hit.


We R Who We R is the latest chart topper song by KESHA, from her first EP, CANNIBAL. The song was released as the EP's lead single and was written by her, with Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco and Ammo who also produced the song. Kesha was inspired to write the song in the wake of news that bullying had led to multiple suicides of gay youth. Hence the message of the song is to inspire people to be themselves, a celebration of anyone deemed quirky or eccentric.

BLACK EYED PEAS drops new song!!!

Will.i.am., Fergie, Apl de ap and Taboo popularly known as The BLACK EYED PEAS are back with their robotic-infused thumping sound and mind-melding hooks on THE TIME (Dirty Bit), the lead single from their upcoming 6th studio album The Beginning due out on Novemeber 30 (US).
The song takes a sample of Dirty Dancing jam "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" -- considered as one of pop history’s tastiest slices of cheese — and turns it into an even more over-the-top dance party.

SOMETHING IN THE WATER

BROOKE FRASER is a Pop/Folk singer who sounds like a cross between Sarah McLachlan and Norah Jones. Hailing from New Zealand, she comes from Hillsong United, an internationally-recognized Christian worship band.

While she isn't exactly a "new artist," the beautiful song Something In The Water is the first time I've heard of her...This track is the first single from her latest album FLAGS which was released earlier this year.

JUSTIN BIEBER: MY WORLD ACOUSTIC

Teen music sensation JUSTIN BIEBER announces via twitter that his new album My World Acoustic will be released on November 23. That date now appears to have moved to the day following the American Thanksgiving, Friday November 26.
The new record will contain songs from his My World and My World 2.0 albums on stripped versions as well as a brand new track called "Pray" which is described as "an optimistic, uplifting song, and represents the spirit behind 'My Worlds Acoustic."

The press release for the album says, "Justin intends the album as a gift to his fans; the arrangements reflect Justin's early days with merely an acoustic guitar or a lone piano." Check out some of my favorite tracks below.

One of the highlights on Taylor Swift's new record is the emotional "DEAR JOHN" Her voice may be digitally tuned, but the timbre and word emphasis are elegant as she sings about feeling used.
The subject is assumed by many to be about her brief ties to John Mayer, but while nothing is confirmed in the lyrics, the music certainly seems to support this speculation. The two made a song together in 2009, the song was Half Of My Heart and it was for Mayer's album.

Nearing seven minutes in length, Swift takes her time with "Dear John," saving her strongest points for the end; her voice finding strength in the words as the song passes by.

Check out KATY PERRY's live performance of her latest single FIREWORK, off from her Teenage Dream album.Perry said that "Firework" is her favorite song on the album. She expressed that:

"People are coming back and almost adopting it as their own anthem, and it's hard, I think, to write an anthem that's not cheesy, and I hope that this could be something in that category. I hope this could be one of those things where it's like, 'Yeah, I want to put my fist up and feel proud and feel strong. But I also don't want to be cheesy, it's a fine line, and I think 'Firework' ... would be like the opus or my one song — if I had to pick a song to play — 'cause it has a great beat. But it also has a fantastic message."

MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS is the stage name of Marina Diamandis- a Greek-Welsh solo artist based in London, UK. Marina's deep voice mixed with her pop, electronic, eccentric sound produces some good tunes.

DEVIL'S GOT YOUR BOYFRIEND is my favorite track from TRACY BONHAM's latest album Masts Of Manhatta...Love the voice and the violin/guitar playing she put on this song.

The album is filled with great songs, catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics. Bonham's trademark playfullness are fully intact here. I consider it as one of the best album this year! =0

NIGHT IS YOUNG (ACOUSTIC)

Multiplatinum-selling singer and recent Canadian Walk of Fame inductee Nelly Furtado will celebrate her tenth anniversary as a recording artist with her first greatest hits compilation The Best Of Nelly Furtado to be released worldwide on November 16.

The first track Night Is Young is an addicting electronic-dance anthem but Furtado gave an amazing acoustic version of the song when she stopped by at Walmart Soundcheck. Watch the video below:

A beautiful piece from Avril Lavigne's Under My Skin album. It's a very sweet song and very sad at the same time. She wrote this song in memory for her grandfather who passed away when she was on a concert tour and tells how much she misses him...and I think it's a perfect song for this day!
