I'm currently listening to a cd called IF I LEFT THE ZOO by Jars Of Clay. Actually the album was my first exposure to new 'christian rock/aternative music' whatever you want to call it. I bought that one years ago and since then I couldn't get enough.

My favorite track from the cd is No One Loves Me Like You - a bluegrass inspired-ballad with pump organ, mandolin and strong sweet vocals. The lyrics talks about how love can be the most wonderful thing, and how it can be hurt. This song is well done and musically, its superb!

JARS OF CLAY Live and Acoustic

When I think about inspirational songs in time for the Holy week, the first thing come to my mind is the christian rock band JARS OF CLAY. Like The Beatles, the group demonstrated a certain versatility, mixing catchy pop tune to intense folk-rock. And what i heart about them?- their honest and deep lyrics, haunting melodies, and ability to adapt and change their sound through the years and yet manage to make every song great.
