FALLIN' FOR YOU!
This song by Colbie Caillat randomly came on my music player this morning and it really made me smile and set me in a good mood...Napakarefreshing kasi ang boses niya at kahit medyo 'old' na to ay napakasarap pa ring ulit-uliting pakinggan lalo na ngayong summer season.

LIFEHOUSE's new CD !
Once again, one of my favorite band LIFEHOUSE have astounded and delighted me with this beautiful, thoughtful album titled Smoke and Mirrors. Every time they release a new one, I can't imagine loving the next one more, but it always happens.
As usual, they have managed to bring a fresh musical sound with lyrics as heartfelt and amazing as ever. Their music continues to speak to me as nothing ever has before. I love every single song in this set - each one is incredible and very catchy especially the songs "Falling In" and the first single "Halfway gone". This will definitely not disappoint the longtime fans (like me!), or new listeners. I truly recommend this album to everyone!
HALFWAY GONE (Live acoustic)
Great work, Lifehouse!!!

Akuztik Pick 10: Liz Phair
Check out these amazing acoustic songs from an artist in the 1990's that I had completely overlooked...I'm talking about the rock chick Liz Phair!!
Stream the MusiQ below:
One of my favorite early song from Liz, this is a cut from her 1994 album Whipsmart.
Taken from the 2003 self titled album Liz Phair -which took her higher in the charts and introduced her in the mainstream audience.
The following tracks below are included in Somebody's Miracle album (2005). It features a softer side of Phair, with themes of innocence, loss and love.
A smooth, beautiful song...reflecting her most confident vocals and clearer sound.
I really love the melody of this song...one of the best track in the album.

Artist to watch: TAIO CRUZ
Singer-songwriter TAIO CRUZ (pronounced “Tie-Oh Cruise”) has already made a name for himself back home in the UK, where the sweet-voiced 26-year-old scored a number one record last year with the club-ready “Break Your Heart.” - the first single from his new album titled Rokstarr.
Now, the song already reached the #01 spot in US Hot 100 Singles chart, putting Cruz on track for pop stardom.
Aside from being a rapper/performer, Taio Cruz has produced songs for many artists such as Kylie Minogue, Sugababes, Alexandra Burke and Kesha.

GLITTER IN THE AIR by Pink
PINK has had a successful run with her fifth studio album Funhouse that spawned a bunch of great singles like "So what" and "Sober". But she really brought herself worlwide attention recently when she performed the song Glitter in the air at the 2010 Grammy awards- as she suspended in the air, spinning and singing at the same time. (You can watch the clip here.)
She got herself a standing ovation and I think its the best performance of that event vesting Beyonce's yelling and Lady Gaga's over the top gimmicks. While not a Grammy winner this year, Pink certainly should have won something for this incredible performance.

Justin Bieber: Baby (Live)
Check out the live version of Justin Bieber's new song titled BABY, a cut from his debut album My World. The song is no stranger to Bieber's formula , R & B beats and puppy love.
(Baby)
You can also watch the music video here which features a rap lyrics from Ludacris and fast rising pop singer Jasmine V. (or Jasmine Villegas in real life, the Mexican-Filipina who performed in Paquiao-Hatton boxing match in 2009) where she plays Bieber's love interest.

RATED RIHANNA
Barbadian pop diva Rihanna has been growing in popularity over the last couple of years!!
Her new album RATED R became her highest selling debut cd in US and has already spawned three chart topper singles. It also received generally positive reviews from various music critics despite of being 'dark and angry' in terms of musical tone and lyrical direction.PLAY THE MUSIQ HERE:
RUSSIAN ROULETTE the first single from the album, Rihanna exposes a wide range of emotion that must have afflicted her after the much publicized break-up with Chris Brown.
HARD love the 'yeah yeah yeah' part.
RUDE BOY According to Q magazine, this song is "about the kind of street, bad boy that girls sometimes like"
The album is not the typical glitter-covered-dance floor flavor that she's known for but basically, this new record is a winning album for Rihanna.
