Check out JOHN MAYER playing his new single "Paper Doll" at The Spectrum. Rumors says that the song is actually written about his one time girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Not sure about that but it makes for an interesting listen.

His sixth studio album Paradise Valley is set to release by Columbia records on August 13th.

The first single "Shadow Days," which Billboard calls "a gentle and shimmering confluence of mellow Southern rock". Watch the music video below:


This song is simple and amazing at the same time. I always say that Mayer is given a bum rap as just another pop singer and I hope that this album helps bring him the credit that he truly deserves, awesome vocals, songwriter and an amazing guitarist.=O

John Mayer: Live in Manila!

Grammy award winner JOHN MAYER will be having a concert in Manila next month!

The hit making singer-songwriter that gave us "Your body is a wonderland", "No Such thing", "Waiting for the world to change" among others will perform a one night concert on May 16, 2010 specifically at the SM MOA concert grounds, as part of his Battle Studies World Tour.

Damn! I really want to watch this concert kaya lang super mahal ang ticket!...well take a look for yourself!

BEST COLLABZ!

I love it when two or more artists agreed to collaborate a song especially when they are very current and the ones that usually topped the charts and the record tills.

This year is no exception- their are song collaborations out there that really worth listening. Sometimes it make us surprise because of the unusual pairings (e.g. Taylor Swift and T-Pain in Thug Story to Lady Gaga and Beyonce's Telephone) but what's more important is that they gave us a good material that is really entertaining.

from Hanna Montana soundtrack, Miley sounds great when she sings ballad. It features "Achy Breaky Heart" singer Billy Ray who happens to be his dad!

Remember Chris Isaak? He's the singer behind the melancholic song "Wicked Game" in early 90's. This year, he released a new cd titled "Mr. Lucky Guy" and this song is one of my favorite cut in the album.

I never thought that they would come together. This song really gives me chills...its so beautiful!

The collaboration plan started when Mayer guested in Swifts' Fearless tour. So here it is and was also released as the the next single from Mayer's latest work "Battle Studies".



This song is currently the #01 single in Billboard Hot 100 chart. Its a duet from rapper Jay-z and Grammy award winner artist Alicia Keys. The song is Empire State of Mind.

One of my favorite acoustic artist, John Mayer has a new album coming up. The new CD entitled BATTLE STUDIES being released this November.

The album also features a duet with the reigning princess of crossover country music, Taylor Swift and several George Harrison-influenced breakup cuts.

A nationwide US tour in support of BATTLE STUDIES is already in the works for 2010.
